The Soundcraft Compact Stagebox is a game-changer in live sound reinforcement, offering a cost-effective expansion solution for the Soundcraft Vi and Si series, including the Vi1 and Si Compact models. Its compact 4U size belies its capability, delivering a dense array of I/O connections that seamlessly integrate with your existing Soundcraft setup, enhancing both functionality and operational flexibility.

High Density and Configurability
Engineered for maximum I/O in minimal space, the Compact Stagebox comes standard with 32 mic/line inputs, 8 line outputs, and 8 AES/EBU outputs. Its design includes two expansion slots for Studer D21m I/O cards, supporting a variety of digital formats such as CobraNet®, AVIOM A-Net®16, Ethersound, ADAT, and RockNet. The stagebox can even be fitted with a MADI recording interface, providing additional versatility for live recording setups.

Flexible I/O Options
The modularity of the Compact Stagebox means it can be tailored to specific needs. It is possible to substitute the standard output module with an additional 16 mic/line input XLR module, increasing total inputs to 48. Outputs can still be managed through D-Type connectors via D21m cards, ensuring that the stagebox adapts to varying output requirements.

Seamless Integration and Interchangeability
Utilizing the same Mic/line I/O modules as the Soundcraft Vi1 console, this stagebox allows for the easy interchange of modules between the console and stagebox. This feature is particularly useful when different configurations are needed, such as swapping an 8 line out/AES output card from the stagebox to the Vi1 console, offering unmatched flexibility in use and configuration.

Reliable and Robust Connectivity
Connection to the host console is facilitated through Cat-5, mirroring the connection strategy of the larger Vi6 Stagebox with redundant MADI cable capabilities. Equipped with twin redundant power supplies and thermostatically-controlled fan cooling, the Compact Stagebox is built to ensure continuous, reliable performance. It also features full LED status monitoring and an 8-channel GPIO interface for enhanced control.
