With eight rear-mounted XLR/TRS combo inputs, eight front-panel Hi-Z/DI instrument inputs, and three sets of D-sub connectors for line-level inputs and inserts, it seamlessly integrates into both modern and classic studio environments. The unit features ADAT and AES digital outputs, allowing seamless connectivity with high-end audio interfaces and consoles. The onboard USB soundcard provides an easy way to record directly into a DAW at up to 32-bit/192 kHz.

Each mic preamp includes stepped gain control up to +65 dB and a 31-step Trim control for fine-tuned adjustments in precise 1 dB increments. The unit also features AES/EBU and ADAT outputs, offering eight channels at 24-bit/48 kHz. By cascading two PURE DRIVE OCTOs via ADAT LINK IN, users can expand their setup to 16 channels. Additionally, AES and ADAT outputs can be repurposed to be fed from the onboard USB soundcard, providing seamless integration with DAW-based workflows.
