Three Unique Drive Modes for Tailored Analog Character
Each of the four mic preamps in the PURE DRIVE QUAD features three selectable modes: Clean, Classic Drive, and Asymmetric Drive. Clean mode delivers SSL’s ultra-linear, low-noise performance, capturing every detail with precision. Classic Drive adds harmonic coloration with a symmetrical saturation characteristic, similar to the ORIGIN console. Asymmetric Drive introduces a unique SSL coloration by enhancing even-order harmonics, adding thickness and a rich analog character to your recordings.

PURE DRIVE QUAD is built for flexibility, featuring multiple analog and digital connection options. The unit provides four XLR/TRS combo inputs, four front-panel Hi-Z/DI instrument inputs, and balanced analog outputs for direct routing. For digital workflows, it includes ADAT and AES outputs, allowing seamless integration with professional audio interfaces and converters. The built-in USB soundcard offers 12x12 I/O, enabling direct recording to a DAW with up to 32-bit/192 kHz resolution.

Precision Gain Control and High-Pass Filtering
Each channel is equipped with stepped gain control up to +65 dB, providing exact recall and stereo matching. A 31-step Trim control allows fine adjustments in 1 dB increments, ensuring optimal level management without sacrificing tone.
