The Yamaha P15-TIS NEXO P+ is a high-performance 15-inch coaxial point source loudspeaker engineered for professional touring and permanent installation environments. Combining a purpose-built 15″ LF neodymium driver with a 3″ diaphragm HF driver in a coaxial configuration, this system delivers exceptional clarity, precise imaging, and consistent coverage. Designed for versatility, the P15-TIS excels in both full-range FOH applications and as a high-output stage monitor.

Compact Cabinet Built for Demanding Environments

Crafted from a curvilinear enclosure of custom birch and poplar plywood, the P15-TIS offers exceptional strength and acoustic integrity while keeping dimensions compact at just 600mm x 483mm x 352mm. This rugged yet lightweight design is well-suited for high-intensity touring schedules and fixed installations where space is at a premium. The cabinet is available in touring or installation versions, ensuring the right fit for your operational needs.

Flexible Vertical or Horizontal Deployment

Whether used in vertical orientation for front-of-house duties or laid horizontally as a wedge monitor, the P15-TIS adapts easily to your requirements. HF directivity can be configured to suit specific applications, optimizing audience coverage and reducing unwanted spill. This flexibility makes it equally effective in live music venues, houses of worship, corporate events, and theatrical productions.

Seamless Active or Passive Mode Switching

A recessed rear-panel switch allows you to change between 2-way passive and 2-way active operation, giving you greater control over system integration. This means you can run the P15-TIS in a simplified passive setup for quick deployment or leverage active mode for more precise tuning in complex sound systems. Connectivity includes two Speakon® connectors on the rear panel and an additional Speakon® on each side for streamlined daisy-chaining.

Touring-Grade Durability and IP54-Rated Installation Option

The TIS touring version features ergonomic side handles, heavy-duty connectivity, and a cloth-covered grille for stage-ready performance. Installation versions are offered in custom RAL colors with fixed cloth-covered grilles, universal rigging points, and a 2-core cable for audio input to achieve an IP54 protection rating against dust and water. This ensures reliable operation in challenging environments, from outdoor stages to weather-exposed architectural installs.
