95 Watts of Bi-Amplified Power, One Amp Per Driver
Each HS7 carries its own 95-watt bi-amp engine: a dedicated 60-watt amplifier for the 6.5-inch cone woofer and a separate 35-watt amplifier for the 1-inch dome tweeter. Splitting the power this way keeps the low end tight under load and the highs clean at volume, instead of letting a single shared amp smear the two bands together. Newly developed transducers paired with a large magnet deliver smooth, even response from the bass through the crossover at 2 kHz and out to the top of the range.
Room Control and High Trim: Tune the Monitor to Your Space
No two rooms sound the same, and an untreated bedroom or desk corner will exaggerate bass and harshen highs. The HS7 puts two response switches on the rear panel so you correct for it. ROOM CONTROL cuts the low end by 0, -2, or -4 dB below 500 Hz to counter the bass buildup that happens when a monitor sits near a wall. HIGH TRIM adjusts the treble plus or minus 2 dB above 2 kHz to soften a bright room or add air to a dead one. You get accurate monitoring without rebuilding your space.
