The Tesira STC-2 is a modular telephone interface card designed for use with Tesira SERVER and SERVER-IO devices. This card allows seamless connection to up to two standard analog telephone lines, integrating telephony capabilities into professional audio installations. It provides more than just basic hybrid functionality, offering advanced features such as line-echo cancellation, noise suppression, caller ID decoding, and call progress tone detection.

Version Compatibility and Software Integration
The STC-2 is available in two versions, which can be identified by the rear plate label: Version 1 ("STC-2") is compatible with all Tesira software and firmware versions, while Version 2 ("STC-2 v2") requires Tesira v3.2 or later. Both versions can coexist within the same SERVER or SERVER-IO, provided the necessary software and firmware requirements are met.

Scalability for Large-Scale Audio Systems
Each Tesira SERVER-IO supports up to six STC-2 cards, making it easy to scale telephone integration across multiple rooms or zones. The STC-2 is managed through Tesira software, using the Telephone Interface Component Object, and supports direct association with DTMF Decode and Dialer blocks for added flexibility in telephony applications.
