The Tesira CONNECT TC-5D is a 5-port AVB-capable PoE+ network device designed for seamless integration of AVB and Dante media networks in Biamp conferencing systems. While retaining all the functionality of the Tesira CONNECT TC-5, the TC-5D introduces powerful AVB-to-Dante bridging, allowing users to connect Dante devices to Tesira AVB systems or Biamp AVB devices to a Tesira Dante-only system. This makes it a versatile solution for audio networking in modern conference rooms.

Effortless Dante and AVB Interoperability
With the ability to bridge AVB and Dante networks, the TC-5D eliminates the need for separate network infrastructures. Whether integrating Tesira AVB devices into an existing Dante setup or bringing Dante equipment into an AVB-based system, this device streamlines the connection process with a plug-and-play design. It supports up to 32x32 Dante channels and 128x128 AVB channels, ensuring high-quality audio transmission between the two protocols.

Scalable and Flexible Conference Room Connectivity
The TC-5D supports up to four Tesira CONNECT devices within a single media network cluster, offering flexible deployment options. These devices can be arranged in either a star or chain topology, allowing for tailored configurations to meet the needs of various room sizes and layouts. Additionally, all five ports automatically detect their role, enabling smooth integration with both AVB and Dante equipment.

Optimized for Seamless AV Networking
Tesira CONNECT TC-5D is built for high-performance media networking, supporting up to 150 AVB streams and Dante AES67 capabilities. With IGMP snooping support and RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol), it enhances network stability and reliability. Four of the five ports provide PoE+ Class 4 power, delivering up to 120W across connected devices, eliminating the need for additional power sources.

Designed for Plug-and-Play Installation
Unlike traditional network switches, the TC-5D is preconfigured for Biamp devices, making setup effortless. It requires no manual configuration and integrates directly with Tesira software and Biamp SageVue for monitoring and updates. Whether installed under a table, behind a display, or in a credenza, its fanless, passively cooled design ensures quiet operation, making it ideal for conference environments.
