Onboard Recording with Four Hours of Internal Storage
Unlike traditional wireless lavalier systems, this microphone records audio internally, storing up to four hours of broadcast-quality WAV audio at 48 kHz / 16-bit resolution. This design avoids dropouts caused by wireless interference during recording. After your shoot, the audio is transferred and synchronized to your smartphone through the companion app, ensuring consistent performance even if Bluetooth range is exceeded during filming.
Bluetooth Connection and Automatic Audio Video Sync
The Memory Mic connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth for setup, control, and file transfer. Once recording begins through the Sennheiser app, the microphone does not need to remain within Bluetooth range to continue capturing audio. After recording, the app automatically aligns the internally recorded audio with your video, eliminating manual syncing in post-production and preventing audio/video timing issues.
Omnidirectional Condenser Capsule with High SPL Handling
Inside the compact housing is an omnidirectional condenser element with a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz. The mic captures natural, full-range voice reproduction while handling high sound pressure levels.
