Radial products purchased by an authorized Radial Engineering reseller include a 3 year, transferable warranty.

Radial JR2 Features:

  • TWO-BUTTON CONTROL: two independent switches command a pair of functions on your Radial device from the floor, hands-free
  • A/B AND MUTE: the two switches typically handle output selection and Mute, with the exact functions assigned by the connected unit
  • HOST-POWERED: the JR2 draws its power from the Radial device it controls, so there is no wall adapter or battery to manage
  • XLR OR 1/4-INCH TRS: connects over a standard balanced cable using either a balanced XLR or a 1/4-inch TRS jack
  • ADAPTS TO YOUR GEAR: because the functions follow the host device, the JR2 works across compatible Radial units with a dual remote input
  • ONE CABLE RUN: a single balanced cable carries both control functions and the power the switch needs for a clean setup
  • BUILT TO BE STEPPED ON: heavy-duty construction stands up to a lifetime of stomps, kicks, and load-ins

Radial JR2: Two-Button Remote Control for Your Radial Gear

The Radial JR2 is a dual remote footswitch that puts two functions — typically A/B selection and Mute — under your feet for hands-free control of a compatible Radial device. Where a single footswitch handles one job, the JR2's two switches let you command two functions at once from the floor, with the exact behaviors set by the Radial product it is connected to. When one footswitch is not enough, the JR2 is the two-button remote that takes over.

Two Switches, Two Functions

The JR2 carries two independent activator switches, so you can control a pair of functions on the host device without reaching for the rack. On many Radial units the two switches map to A/B output selection and Mute, but because the functions follow whatever the connected device assigns, the JR2 adapts to the gear it is paired with. That is the whole point of a dual remote: more control at your feet, fewer trips back to the equipment.

Powered by the Host, Ready to Connect

The JR2 derives its power from the Radial device it controls, so there is no wall adapter or battery to manage — the host feeds it over the same connection that carries the control signal. It connects using a choice of XLR or 1/4-inch TRS with a standard balanced cable, letting you place the remote where it is convenient and run the cable back to the unit.

Connects With XLR or 1/4-Inch TRS

Flexibility in the field means matching whatever jack your Radial unit provides, so the JR2 accepts either a balanced XLR or a 1/4-inch TRS connection over standard cable. A single run carries both control functions and the power the switch needs, keeping the setup clean whether the JR2 sits at your feet on stage or beside a console.

What the JR2 Works With

The JR2 is a two-button remote for compatible Radial products that provide a dual remote-control jack, giving you foot control of two assigned functions such as A/B and Mute. Check your Radial device's manual to confirm the remote input and which functions the two switches control, connect the JR2 with XLR or 1/4-inch TRS, and you have a rugged two-button remote ready to run your rig from the floor.
