Neumann SG 2: The Direct Stand Mount for a TLM 102
The Neumann SG 2 is a full-metal swivel mount that cradles the TLM 102 and the body-matched TLM 103, TLM 193, and M 147 Tube on a mic stand. When a suspension is not needed and an engineer wants the mic held rigidly and close to the stand, the SG 2 tilts it onto the source and locks the angle without creeping. The matte-black finish keeps the hardware quiet in the room and on camera.
Fits the Studio Stand
A 5/8-inch-27 female thread drops the mount straight onto studio booms and stands, and the included adapter steps it down to 1/2-inch and 3/8-inch studs. Many TLM 102 microphones ship with this mount, making the SG 2 the correct replacement or spare. For an elastic suspension that isolates the same mics from floor rumble, the EA 4 and EA 1 are the shock-mount options.
