Neumann EA 2 mt: Matte-Black Suspension for the TLM 49
The Neumann EA 2 mt is a matte-black elastic suspension shock mount for the TLM 49 vocal condenser and the digital Solution-D D-01, giving the isolation of the nickel EA 2 in a finish that vanishes on camera. A spider of rubber bands suspends the microphone off the stand, decoupling it so footsteps, floor rumble, and desk knocks stay out of an intimate vocal capsule. The non-reflective black keeps the hardware out of the shot under studio lighting. The cradle is dimensioned to the TLM 49 and D-01 body.
Set the Vocal Angle
A swiveling yoke tilts the microphone to the singer and locks the position without creep. The 5/8-inch-27 female thread mounts to studio booms and stands, and the supplied adapter drops it to 1/2-inch and 3/8-inch studs. The mic loads in seconds. Between takes the EA 2 mt keeps its aim on the performer.
Matte or Nickel
Pick the EA 2 mt for a matte TLM 49 or a Solution-D on a lit set or in front of a camera. The nickel EA 2 covers silver-bodied rigs. The smaller TLM 102, TLM 103, and TLM 107 use the EA 4.
