Optimized Cable Management
The RS7-HR simplifies your setup by splitting one Cat (RJ45) control cable into seven, directing connections to each camera through a 'Home Run' configuration. This not only tidies up the installation but also reduces the potential for connectivity issues, ensuring a cleaner and more reliable setup. Ideal for studios and control rooms where space and efficiency are key, the RS7-HR streamlines your camera controls into one central hub.

Extended Reach for Remote Operations
This distribution box dramatically extends the usable length of your control cables. Using RS232, you can control cameras up to 100 meters away from the controller to the RS7-HR, and another 100 meters to the cameras—totaling 200 meters. With RS422, this range increases to 600 meters. This feature is crucial for large venues and complex setups where cameras need to be placed significant distances from the control room.

Flexible Installation Options
The RS7-HR comes with rack mount ears for a 1RU 19" rack installation and additional small ears for optional table or wall mounting.
