Mackie MP-20TWS True Wireless Dual-Driver Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling

Mackie MP-20TWS: Studio-Grade Dual-Driver Sound in True Wireless Earbuds

Most true wireless earbuds make you choose between convenience and real sound quality. The Mackie MP-20TWS refuses that trade-off. Built by an audio company that has spent decades designing gear for stages and recording studios, these earbuds put a hybrid dual-driver engine in each side: a Knowles balanced armature for articulate mids and crisp highs, paired with a custom dynamic driver for full, controlled bass. If you have only ever used the buds that came free with a phone, the difference is immediate. If you are upgrading from a basic Bluetooth pair, you finally hear separation, imaging, and detail instead of a wall of mid-bass. And if you are comparing spec sheets, the 10 Hz to 20,000 Hz range and 106 dB max SPL tell you these were tuned by people who measure, not guess.

Why a Knowles Balanced Armature Changes How Earbuds Sound

Knowles has led earphone driver design for decades, and their balanced armature drivers are the reference for accuracy and reliability inside in-ear monitors. In the MP-20TWS, that armature is dedicated to mids and highs, so vocals sit forward and clear and cymbals shimmer without harshness, while the separate dynamic driver moves the air a single driver never could on the low end. The result is the kind of clarity and faithful reproduction in-ear monitor users expect from a wired IEM, delivered over Bluetooth with no cable. Acoustic guitar, dense electronic mixes, and spoken-word podcasts all come through with the layers intact.

MIS Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling for Commutes, Offices, and Flights

Mackie's MIS Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling targets a wider frequency band than typical ANC, which means it cancels more low rumble and droning ambient noise — the engine drone on a flight, the rumble of a train, the hum of an open office. Three Knowles SiSonic microphones in each earbud feed the cancelling system, and the conforming silicone ear tips add a passive seal on top of the active reduction. Switch into ambient mode when you need to hear the world again. Reviewers note the cancelling works surprisingly well, with a faint background that disappears the moment music starts.

13+ Hours Per Charge, 40+ More in the Case, USB-C When You Need It

Battery anxiety is over. Each charge runs past 13 hours — longer than most full days of listening — and the included wireless charging case banks another 40-plus hours before you ever need a wall outlet. When you do, USB-C fast charging tops the case quickly, and because the case supports wireless charging you can also set it on a Qi pad. For travelers and heavy listeners, that combination means a single MP-20TWS easily covers multi-day trips between charges.

A Secure, Sweat-Resistant Fit Built for Real Life

An IPX4 rating means sweat and splashes are no threat, so the MP-20TWS handles gym sessions, runs, and rainy commutes without worry. Three sizes of conforming silicone ear tips ship in the box so you can dial in a sealing, stay-put fit — which also tightens the bass response and improves passive isolation. Capacitive touch controls keep playback, call answering, ANC modes, and your voice assistant (Siri or Google) at a fingertip, and the three SiSonic mics per side keep your voice clear on calls.

Who the MP-20TWS Is For

These are for the listener who cares about sound: the commuter who wants real noise cancelling and real fidelity, the music fan who streams from a phone, tablet, or a Bluetooth turntable and wants a private, detailed listen, and the gym-goer who needs a secure IPX4 fit that still sounds like a proper pair of in-ear monitors. If you have been disappointed by earbuds that are all bass and no detail, the Knowles dual-driver design is the upgrade you have been looking for.
