The DC power, ranging from 9 to 16 VDC, is applied to the input port and transmitted through the coaxial cable to power devices like the UFM230 filter/amplifier. Crucially, this power is isolated from the output port, ensuring it does not interfere with the receiver it’s connected to, enhancing system stability and performance.

Strategic Setup for Optimal Performance
For optimal performance, the BIAST is typically installed near the receiver where power is available, allowing for efficient management of your audio setup. The UFM230 filter/amplifier and antenna are then placed at the far end of the coaxial cable near the antenna.
