LEA Professional Connect 84 Features:

  • FOUR CHANNELS AT 80 WATTS — four independent 80W channels fit background music and paging into small retail floors, cafes, and boutique fitness rooms without wasting rack space.
  • ANALOG IN, NETWORK EVERYWHERE ELSE — balanced Euroblock inputs keep the wiring simple while Wi-Fi and FAST Ethernet put full control on the network.
  • 70V, 100V, OR LOW-Z PER CHANNEL — each output selects a distributed line or a low-impedance pair independently, so mixed speaker layouts run from one box.
  • ONBOARD DSP ON EVERY OUTPUT — input routing, crossovers, parametric EQ, delay, and speaker limiters are tuned per channel from a browser.
  • CLOUD MONITORING BUILT IN — real-time load monitoring and notifications reach any phone or laptop, so a small-venue operator sees a fault before a customer does.
  • COMPACT 1U SMART AMPLIFIER — the lightest, most economical entry into the networked Connect line drops into a shallow rack or closet.

LEA Professional Connect 84: The Compact On-Ramp to Networked Amplification

The LEA Professional Connect 84 is a four-channel networked install power amplifier that puts 80 watts on each of its four channels, and it is built for the rooms where a giant amp is overkill but remote control still matters. Think a single coffee bar, a boutique clothing floor, or a two-room yoga studio that needs clean background music and a paging feed. It is the smallest, most economical way onto LEA's Network Connect platform, so a first LEA install can carry the same cloud tooling used on the flagships. You spend on four honest channels and network smarts, not on power you will never push. It answers one question well: how do you get browser-managed audio into a small space without a rack full of gear.

Four Zones That Fit the Room

Four channels at 80 watts map cleanly onto the way small venues actually divide up: dining and patio, a back office, and a restroom or entry paging tap. Each channel is its own zone with its own level, EQ, and limiter, so the patio can run louder than the dining room from the same chassis. Because the amp sips power, it lives happily in a shallow wall rack or an under-counter cabinet where heat and depth are tight. When the space grows, you add a second Connect amp to the same network rather than reworking the first. That keeps a phased build predictable for the installer and the owner alike.

Analog In, Network Control — the Simple Sibling

This is the analog-input member of the pair; the Connect 84D adds Dante audio transport, while the 84 takes a balanced analog feed on Euroblock and leaves audio distribution to your existing cabling. For a small site with one or two analog sources, that is exactly the right trade: no Dante switch, no network audio commissioning, just a clean line in and full control out over the network. Wiring stays approachable for a general contractor or a small AV crew. The moment a source is analog anyway, the D model's transport adds cost without adding value here. Choose the 84 when the signal is simple and the control needs to be smart.

70V, 100V, or Low-Z on Every Output

Every one of the four channels selects its output mode independently, driving a 70V or 100V distributed line for ceiling speakers or a low-impedance pair for a couple of foreground boxes. There are no output transformers in the path, so the amp direct-drives the constant-voltage line with the efficiency and damping of a low-Z stage. A cafe can run three zones of 70V ceiling speakers and keep the fourth channel on an 8-ohm pair over the bar. Mixing distributed and discrete speakers no longer means a second amplifier or an external transformer. One box covers the whole speaker plan.

DSP You Tune From a Browser

Behind each output sits a 96 kHz Analog Devices DSP engine with a routable input matrix, crossover filters, an 8-band parametric EQ, delay, and adjustable speaker limiters. That means room EQ, high-pass protection for small ceiling speakers, and level shaping happen inside the amp, not in an outboard processor. An installer dials it all in from a laptop, saves the settings, and walks away. If the venue later swaps speakers, the limiter and EQ update in software rather than in hardware. The processing that used to fill a rack now rides inside a 1U box.

Cloud Control for Sites Without an On-Site Tech

Connect to the amp through its built-in Wi-Fi access point, an existing Wi-Fi network, or a wired FAST Ethernet drop, then manage it from any browser. Because the Connect platform is IoT-enabled, a small chain can watch load status and receive fault notifications across every location without sending anyone on site. A manager reboots a zone or nudges a level from a phone behind the counter. Real-time load monitoring flags a blown driver before a customer ever mentions it. For a growing operator, that remote visibility is what turns a scattered set of rooms into a managed system.
