A Discrete Signal Path With No Integrated Circuits

The COMP-3A uses only discrete components such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors, with no integrated circuits in the signal path, the way audio gear was built before chips became common. Electro-Optical Gain Control

Metering, Bypass, and Stereo Linking

Clear feedback makes fast decisions easier. A big meter switches between gain reduction and output level at two reference points, and a hardwire bypass switch enables instant before-and-after checks.
