High-Performance 8020D Nearfield Monitors Each of the five 8020D monitors features a 4-inch woofer and a 0.75-inch metal dome tweeter, powered by dedicated 50-watt Class D amplifiers. The Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) design, with its rounded edges and curved surfaces, minimizes cabinet edge diffraction, resulting in a smooth frequency response and precise imaging. The Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) enhances off-axis response, ensuring consistent sound quality across the listening area. 

Powerful and Precise 7050C Subwoofer The 7050C subwoofer complements the 8020D monitors by extending the low-frequency response down to 25 Hz. It features an 8-inch driver powered by a 130-watt Class D amplifier. The Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE) design reduces port turbulence, providing clear and articulate bass reproduction. With five main input channels and a dedicated LFE input, the 7050C integrates seamlessly into the 5.1 system, delivering balanced and controlled low-end performance. 

Flexible Room Integration and Mounting Options The 8020D monitors come equipped with Iso-Pod (Isolation Positioner/Decoupler) stands, allowing for precise angling and isolation from vibration when placed on surfaces. Additionally, each monitor includes integrated mounting threads compatible with standard wall and ceiling mounts, providing versatile installation options to suit various studio layouts. 

Energy-Efficient Design with Intelligent Signal Sensing Genelec's Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) technology reduces power consumption by automatically switching the monitors and subwoofer to standby mode when no audio signal is detected, making the 8020.LSE Espresso system both environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
