With a few clicks, you can measure the listening environment and apply system-wide EQ, time alignment, level matching, and room correction using the optional Genelec measurement mic and GLM kit. The 6040R features Genelec’s Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE), made from pressure-cast aluminum with smooth, curved edges to reduce reflections and edge diffractions. Combined with the Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW), it delivers wide, even dispersion and consistent tonal response on- and off-axis. The result is a broad sweet spot and detailed stereo imaging, with minimal coloration from the room or cabinet itself.
