At the core of the QX396 is a large-format compression driver with a 4-inch voice coil mounted to a 90° x 60° constant directivity horn. Four Phase Aligned 10-inch cone transducers are arranged in horizontal and vertical pairs to maintain low-frequency coherence and extend pattern control into the bass region. This symmetrical layout ensures that all frequencies appear to radiate from a single acoustic point.
