The EAW QX364-WP WHITE is a weather-protected, high-output passive 2-way loudspeaker optimized for permanent installation in arenas, stadiums, houses of worship, and other performance-critical venues. As part of the QX300 Series, it delivers the exceptional pattern control and sonic fidelity of EAW’s QX500 Series three-way systems but in a compact two-way format, giving system designers more flexibility without compromising on power or precision. Its compact footprint, powerful components, and advanced horn design make it ideal for medium-throw applications where control and clarity are essential.

Consistent coverage with 60 x 45 degree dispersion
At the heart of the QX364-WP WHITE is a 4-inch voice coil compression driver paired with a 60° x 45° constant directivity horn. This combination provides tight pattern control for accurate sound coverage across horizontal and vertical axes. The horn is one of six interchangeable beamwidth options, allowing integrators to adapt the speaker’s coverage for specific room geometries. Supporting the high-frequency section are four Phase Aligned 10-inch cone transducers, arranged in vertical and horizontal pairs to enhance low-frequency pattern control through optimized spacing and coupling.

Single point source design improves coherence
The symmetrical layout of the low-frequency drivers around the coaxial high-frequency compression driver allows the QX364-WP WHITE to function as a true point source. This alignment ensures that sound across the entire frequency spectrum originates from a single spatial location, eliminating phase inconsistencies and producing a clear, cohesive wavefront. This design is particularly beneficial in reverberant environments or when precision timing is required in time-aligned distributed systems.

Flexible wiring and configuration options
The QX364-WP WHITE supports both single-amp and bi-amp operation modes, giving installers the freedom to match amplification strategies to system needs. Each pair of LF drivers can be wired independently, in series, or in parallel, enabling complex routing setups for multi-zone systems. A built-in 70 Hz high-pass filter (12 dB/oct Butterworth) ensures clean integration with subwoofers and helps preserve fidelity by limiting unwanted low-end energy.

The enclosure is made from exterior-grade Baltic birch plywood and finished with a wear-resistant white textured coating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The powder-coated steel grille adds protection for the components without impeding performance.
