The Eartec XT-5AU is a complete five-user wireless intercom system designed for hands-free, full-duplex communication in fast-paced environments. The system includes one XT Com-Center base station and five wireless COMSTAR headsets, all capable of simultaneous two-way communication without voice activation or transmission delays.

Reliable Connectivity and Wide Operational Range
Each headset communicates wirelessly with the Com-Center base station at distances up to 400 yards in any direction. This means your team can operate up to 800 yards apart while maintaining seamless communication. Whether deployed on a large site or during a fast-moving production, the Com-Center ensures strong and clear full-duplex audio across all users. The system allows users to be split into two independent groups or brought together in a single channel for group conferencing.

All-in-One Headset Design with Rugged Construction
The COMSTAR headsets are engineered with user comfort and durability in mind. Featuring soft, around-ear cushions, padded headbands, and integrated antennas, each headset is built to withstand regular use in demanding environments. The boom microphones are adjustable for optimal voice capture and include foam windscreens to minimize background noise and wind interference. The headsets are also field programmable and easy to configure.

Long Battery Life and Flexible Power Options
Each COMSTAR headset is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery offering up to 10 hours of continuous use. The XT Com-Center runs for up to 6 hours on its included rechargeable NiMH battery. For added flexibility, it also supports AC power and AA disposable batteries using the included battery sled. The included multi-port desktop charger handles all components in one station, keeping your gear charged and organized.

Self-Contained System with Simple Setup
The XT-5AU system is completely self-contained and requires no remote antennas or base station tuning. The automatic self-tuning feature ensures a fast, hassle-free setup so your team can focus on the task at hand. Operating on the 1900 MHz band, which is reserved for voice communication, the system requires no FCC license and is certified for use in Australia, the USA, Canada, and Europe.

Expandability for Growing Teams
If your team expands, so can your system. The XT-5AU supports up to eight users per Com-Center with additional headsets available separately.
