Each window supports an independently positioned UMD (Under Monitor Display) with up to 16 customizable characters. Tally information can be shown using tally boxes or border elements, and each quadrant can be tailored to show as much or as little data as you need.
8-Channel Audio Metering with Visual Customization
This module doesn’t stop at video—each input supports eight channels of embedded audio metering, which can be shown with adjustable overlays in each window. The on-screen display includes visual audio level meters as well as channel ID tags. With full control over position and scale, you can design your monitoring screen to meet your team’s visual preferences and technical requirements, especially in fast-paced live production environments.
Supports RS-422/485 Tally Integration and TSL Protocol
Professional tally and UMD control is enabled through RS-422/485 integration, compatible with the widely used TSL protocol. This allows dynamic tally and text data to be fed to the MC-DMON-QUAD from a switcher or automation system. With up to four tallies per input window, the card supports production workflows requiring detailed status feedback and crew communication cues. Note that tally support requires the optional DR1-10B1G rear connector module.
