Stereo Functionality and Synchronized Tones
For stereo applications, pairs of channels can be ganged together. Each voice ident can be individually recorded for left and right channels. If tone is selected, the unit synchronizes the two voice idents and outputs stereo EBU or Glits tone, with programmable tone duration between 2 and 16 seconds.

User-Friendly Features for Recording and Monitoring
The IU240 includes a front panel mic level input for easy recording of voice idents. Idents can be monitored via the built-in amplifier and speaker, and a headphone socket accepts both A and B gauge jacks. A one-touch button quickly switches all channels from ident mode to Transmission (pass-through) mode.
