Versatile Voice Recording and Playback
Each channel on the IU160 can record and playback up to 22 seconds of voice. Users have the flexibility to choose between voice loop, looped ident plus tone, or just a steady tone for playback. This versatility makes the unit ideal for a range of applications, from broadcasting to live event production.

Fail-Safe Operation and Uninterrupted Circuit Pass-Through
The IU160 is designed with fail-safe features to prevent accidental override of pass-through circuits. In the event of power loss, all pass-through circuits will continue to operate without interruption, ensuring reliability and peace of mind for users.

Customizable Ident and Tone Levels
Each channel comes equipped with its own ident/tone level adjust tweak, allowing for precise control over audio output. This feature is particularly useful for tailoring audio idents to specific requirements.

Stereo Functionality and Synchronized Tones
Channels on the IU160 can be ganged together for stereo use, with individual voice idents recordable for left and right channels. If tone is selected, the unit synchronizes the two voice idents and outputs stereo EBU or Glits tone, with programmable tone duration between 2 and 16 seconds.

User-Friendly Recording and Monitoring
The unit features a front panel mic level input for easy recording of voice idents. Idents can be monitored via the built-in amplifier and speaker, and a headphone socket accepting both A and B gauge jacks is also available. A one-touch button quickly switches all channels from ident mode to Transmission (pass-through) mode.
