The Barix Instreamer ICE is an audio over IP encoder that can be used to stream analog audio to an Icecast server. It supports the MP3 and AAC+ encoding formats, and can stream to up to 100 simultaneous web radio listeners. The Instreamer ICE also has a built-in Icecast server, so you can stream directly to listeners without the need for a third-party service provider.
The Instreamer ICE is a small and compact device, measuring just 4.25 x 1.5 x 4.92 inches (108 x 38 x 125 mm). It is powered by a 5V DC power supply, and can be wall-mounted or DIN-rail mounted.
The Instreamer ICE encodes analog audio into AAC+ or MP3 for streaming to an Icecast internet radio streaming service in the cloud. The Instreamer ICE also has an Icecast server built in and is able to feed up to 100 web radio listeners directly without the requirement to subscribe to an internet radio service provider.
