AVMatrix TS3019-6: Wireless Tally That Scales to Six Cameras

The AVMatrix TS3019-6 is a wireless multi-camera tally light system pairing one tally box with six wireless lamps. It gives larger productions the same instant, cable-free live indication as its four-lamp sibling, scaled up to six cameras. For a bigger sanctuary or event stage, having wireless tally on every camera keeps a complex show coordinated.

What a Tally System Does

Tally lights signal which camera is on the program output so operators hold their shots and talent knows which lens is live. The TS3019-6 receives tally from a switcher and relays it wirelessly to lamps on each of six cameras, over a range of up to about 656 feet (200 meters). That wireless reach lets a larger camera complement roam a big venue without tally cabling, which matters most when six operators are spread across a room.

Front and Rear Indicators, Broad Compatibility

Each lamp carries front and rear indicators, so both the operator and the presenter can read the live state at a glance. The tally box uses the same box as the four-lamp system and connects through GPIO (DB25), USB-C, RS-232, and RS-485, giving broad compatibility with vMix, other production software, and many hardware switchers via their GPI or tally interfaces, including AVMatrix PVS-series switchers.

Power and Portability

The six lamps run from USB-C or battery power for cable-free placement on every camera, and the system ships with the tally box, antenna, USB-C cords, a power adapter, and a carrying case. It travels as a complete six-camera tally kit.
