AVMatrix PG4K: A Portable 12G-SDI and 4K HDMI Reference Source

The AVMatrix PG4K is a 12G-SDI and 4K HDMI 2.0 test pattern signal generator that outputs known reference signals to DCI and UHD 4K at up to 60p. What a Test Pattern Generator Verifies

A pattern generator produces controlled reference signals, such as color bars, grayscale ramps, pathological patterns and embedded audio tones, so an engineer can test a display, cable run, or entire signal chain against a known good source. The unit also generates 8 or 16 channels of embedded AES/EBU audio from -60 to 0 dB for audio-path verification. A 7-inch 1280x800 IPS display at 400 cd/m2 previews the output on the device itself.
