Measuring just 2.3 x 1.5 x 0.56 inches and weighing 2.3 ounces with the battery, this transmitter offers a compact form factor without compromising on functionality. Wide Frequency Range with Fine Tuning Options

The SSM provides a broad tuning bandwidth of up to 76.7 MHz, covering three standard frequency blocks. Users can select frequencies in 25 or 100 kHz steps, resulting in up to 3,072 available frequencies. This flexibility ensures optimal performance in various RF environments, reducing the risk of interference and providing reliable audio transmission.

Versatile Input and Gain Control

Equipped with a servo bias input, the SSM accepts both mic and line level signals. The input gain can be adjusted in 1 dB increments, allowing precise control over audio levels. A DSP-controlled limiter handles signal peaks over 30 dB above full modulation, preventing distortion and ensuring a clean audio signal. LED indicators on the keypad provide visual feedback for accurate gain adjustments.

Robust Construction for Demanding Environments

The transmitter's housing is constructed from machined aluminum with a durable black electroless nickel finish, offering resistance to wear and corrosion. A stainless steel battery door securely latches closed, preventing accidental openings during use. The SSM is powered by a rechargeable 3.7V lithium-ion battery, providing approximately six hours of operation per charge.

Compatibility with Various Receiver Systems

The SSM is compatible with all current Lectrosonics receivers, including the UCR411A, SR Series, L Series, and Venue Series. It also offers DSP emulation modes for compatibility with analog receivers and IFB systems. An infrared sync port allows for quick setup with compatible receivers, and a micro-USB port facilitates firmware updates, ensuring the transmitter remains up-to-date with the latest features.

User-Friendly Interface and Remote Control Capabilities

A backlit LCD and membrane switch panel provide intuitive access to all settings and configurations. The SSM responds to remote commands for frequency adjustments, audio level changes, and sleep modes via the RM remote unit or compatible smartphone applications. This remote functionality enhances operational efficiency, especially in fast-paced production settings.
