The ART Digital MPA-II combines the exceptional features of the ProMPA with the added advantage of digital output, delivering remarkable versatility. Each input circuit equipped with 48v phantom power and variable input impedance allows for a broad spectrum of performance from high-quality dynamic or ribbon microphones. This device offers dual mono or stereo operation, accommodating selectable mid/side mic support for summing adjacent channels to decode left/right signals.

Exceptional Preamp Tone and Performance
The input section of the Digital MPA-II operates at low or high plate voltage, utilizing two hand-selected 12AX7 tubes for wider preamp tone variation and performance. Back-lit analog VU output meters display output levels, while multi-colored LED arrays show tube gain and digital output levels with average or peak hold.

Digital Connectivity and Superior Quality Output
Beyond XLR and 1/4″ analog outputs, the Digital MPA-II includes a high-quality A to D converter, offering digital connectivity on S/PDIF, ADAT, or AES/EBU outputs. With a front-panel rotary control, users can select formats and sample rates from 44.1 to 192 KHz, coupled with 16-bit dithering. The unit also features two word clock jacks, enabling loop-through functionality.
