The ZED-6FX uses microphone preamps based on Allen & Heath’s professional console designs, providing low noise, warm tone, and generous headroom. Two mic and line input channels support 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. Two additional high-impedance instrument inputs allow guitars and basses to connect directly without the need for external DI boxes, making this mixer especially convenient for solo performers and small ensembles.

Simple EQ and High Pass Filtering for Clear Mixes

Each channel features a two-band MusiQ equalizer designed for musical tone shaping without overcomplication. A built-in high-pass filter helps remove unwanted low-frequency noise such as handling rumble or stage vibration, keeping vocals and instruments clear. This EQ design allows users to make effective adjustments quickly, even in live environments where speed matters.

Internal Effects Engine with Tap Tempo Control

An onboard digital effects engine provides access to reverb, delay, chorus, and modulation effects suitable for vocals and instruments. Tap tempo functionality allows delay times to be matched to the tempo of a song in real time. Flexible Monitoring with PFL and Clear Visual Metering

Pre-fade listen buttons on each channel allow users to monitor signals before they are added to the main mix, making gain staging and troubleshooting easier. Output monitoring is available through headphones or balanced XLR main outputs. An eight-segment LED meter provides clear visual feedback of output levels, helping prevent distortion and maintain consistent signal levels.
